Day 43 of Bible in 365

This morning I think I got through Numbers 5.  God was assigning the location of the priest around the tabernacle.  One thing that was coming to my mind was that Levite clan... do you think they wanted... or that they choose to be the priest?  Their standards are so much higher than everyone else.  I wonder if it was even an option to think otherwise???  Like - they were chosen that's the way it is, why complain or not like the situation when it is not going to do anything?  The Levites are in place of the first born, and their family line will be forever changed.
Yes, I feel like I am rambling, but it just makes me think of the cost of following Jesus and how worth it it is!
