The first thing that got me today was God told Moses to count the men in each household - each tribe ... all the men over 18 years of age. He and Aaron had to count those men by hand... ok, no big deal right... HA .. there were 603,550 men all together!! Moses is my hero... I am telling you, I am so impressed by all that he has done. Maybe in the beginning he argued a little, but he didn't bat an eye when God told him to count 600,000 people! What persistence, and dedication... I want that... I need that!
So today in Numbers the tribes were told to go camp in a certain location. I had heard that their location, when viewed aerially made a cross.. here is a picture I found ::
Pretty cool - I know back then they had no idea of the significance of the cross... but WE do! And how God new then when He knows now. Hey... guess what... Our God rocks!!!
