Good morning!
6:00am came way to early, but I was excited to keep reading about Joseph and his story!! I think I made it to Genesis 46 today, just before Jacob (Josephs father) is reunited with Joseph in Egypt.
So in today's read Joseph's brothers came to Egypt to get food for their family during the famine. There they met Joseph (who they sold years and years ago and presumed dead). They did not recognize Joseph but Joseph new them. I can just imagine Joseph trying to play it so "cool"... yet meanwhile it was KILLING him cause all he wanted was a hug from his brothers. He played it cool for a while, then just broke down when he met his brother that he never new. What a story of Grace - love - acceptance ... after all that his brothers did to him, Joseph couldn't wait to give them everything they would ever want... I want to be like that... so so bad. Really... if someone has "wronged" me... who am I??? What if I didn't have tomorrow to tell them or show them how much I love them, would I regret it?? You bet!
So, right now we are waiting, cause Joseph's brothers left to go get their Father to bring him to Egypt. I can't wait to read about those two being reunited!
