Day 14 of Bible in 365

We have all heard the saying "patience is a virtue!"  So true, but unfortunately it has never been MY virtue.  This mornings read was an amazing example of patience and how God blesses those who trust him.  Joseph we wrongly accused and sent to prison to do time for .. again... something he did not do.  Even in prison Joseph was blessed.  It never once talked about Joseph complaining about his circumstances and how he was WRONGED.  Then, he thought he had a ticket out, but NOPE... two more years went by.  Finally, Pharaoh pulled him out and as Joseph interpreted a dream he made Joseph head of his household, ruler of Egypt.  Patience Patience Patience.  Not to mention being content on where God has you at the time he has you there!  I need to read this story every day for a year!  I am telling you, this speaks directly in my soul, and it should!

This is a prime example to me on why reading the bible is so important.  If we just watch the world, and the TV, the only example we have in our minds are not exactly what we want to become...  This story shows us Godly actions.. Godly manners... and a very Godly man.

I am going to put this into practice today!!!

Today I am thankful for my home... for the food I eat... for the ability to clip coupons and explore the deals out there to be had.  I am thankful for my husband, my daughter, and my friends and family!  I have EVERYTHING I need thanks to Jesus!!!
