This Weeks Shopping

I successfully completed my shopping for the week today - and good timing it seems! There is a winter storm warning for Bend so it's nice to feel stocked up!

I continued my experiment this week on shopping at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods (Last week I did Fred Meyer and Whole Foods). 
So this weeks total is ::  $140.48  I saved only $10.50 on coupons.

Total Monthly Spending (which takes me to the 7th of December) is $675.46 with a total saved of $145.02

But... add $450.00 to that for 1/4 cow... so my REAL monthly groceries is $1125.46

I had hoped to stay under $500 this month with the expense of the cow - but it didn't happen. 
I do think that shopping the multiple stores is the way to go to save the money.  I tried single store shopping two weeks in a row and saved less than I have in a while.  But.. now I know... back to driving around town next week.  All though, I will be out of town for a week, so my shopping will be different.  My hosts are going to laugh at me when I arrive at their home full of coupons for the week! :)

Since I started Couponing... here is my stats ::
November ::  $675.46 saved $145.02  (Omitting the meat)
October  ::  $653.96 saved  $105.35

Getting better... but there is an art to Organic Grocery shopping... I'll find the recipe soon! :)
