I know I have heard before stuff like "it's just a little white lie - it's ok" or how people compromise their walk with the Lord because they think the "sin" is so little it doesn't matter.
Well I just read chapters 15 - 17 of Numbers and ... let me tell you... if you stub your toe... God cares. I can see how people can say God is "mean" or "harsh" by reading the old testament. But in reality God loves us so much He is looking after the longevity of us all... as a people.. we are ONE! So there were some members of the Israelites that got mad at Moses and God for the situation they were in and they confronted Moses about it - and they were not backing down. (Now... there are many times I get mad at my situation, so I understand where they are coming from). But God was so angry with them for not being thankful and not understanding and obeying Him that He opened the earth and swallowed them... their whole families... WOW ... Every day that I read the Old Testament it makes me more thankful for Jesus Christ!
Today I am going to try and remember that God cares about the littlest of things and to not dismiss them thinking He doesn't.
