Up until now in the reading of Moses the Lord has only appeared to Moses. Well... the Lord has now come to Mountain to appear to all the people. I know the story so I am able to pull this one thing out and mention it. The Lord keeps saying to the people and to Moses to NOT build altars to other Gods. His request on this is huge. Yet, knowing the story.... They still do it... They SEE God and still disobey Him.. I guess we, as in the human race, was the same then as we are now.
Are there altars in our life's that shouldn't be there? Money, success, ourselves??? I am going to have to pray about this one... cause I am sure there is something in my life that shouldn't be there... an Altar that is ready to come down. The only God I want to worship is Jesus....
