Today Jacob got to go to Egypt and meet his son Joseph after many years of thinking he was dead. I enjoyed today cause it was like a big family reunion. I think in our society we have lost the meaning of family. Growing up I don't know that I really new how blessed I was to have a family around me. It was not until I lost someone very close to me that I began to realize family is our back bone... it is our rock. For some people family can be your blood. The actual definition of family does include those of one stock... or same blood... but to me... My personal definition of family is those I love and who love me... unconditionally. Some of those people in my life are "from my stock" ... but a lot of them are not.

The story today ended with Jacob being very old, blessing Joseph's sons... and getting pretty close to dieing.
